Windows


Roused from sleep by the warmth of cuddling five-year olds
as the sun washes over us, with the promise of a weekend ahead.
Sleep deprivation and the aches and pains
scrunched in a corner of the bed matter not.

    Your photo is priceless! We have the opposite “problem”: Doug won’t get out of bed on his own when he wakes up; he just stays in bed and calls to me until I come in. We’ve actually tried to persuade him to come in many times, but he’s only managed to do it on his own twice. I guess it’s just as well!
